Sparsha: Social & Live Streaming App

The Challenge

A client wanted a single dating and livestreaming app, not two separate products bolted together, combining dating, real-time voice/video calling, live and room streaming, and short-form reels, while keeping the community safe by verifying every user's gender before they could interact.

What We Built

We built this as a Flutter dating app and Flutter livestreaming app in one shared codebase for Android and iOS, backed by a Node.js API. ZegoCloud powers the real-time voice/video calling and multi-host live room streaming, Firebase handles authentication and core app infrastructure, and Hugging Face models drive the onboarding verification step, analyzing both voice and face before a user can interact with anyone else on the platform. Reels posting, discovery, a dating/matching flow, and a Games & Rewards hub round out the app end to end.

Where It Stands

Live on Google Play and used by hundreds of real users, primarily in India: a full-featured dating and livestreaming app combining dating, streaming, and content, with verified, gender-authenticated onboarding.
