JCOP RFID Chip Reader App

The Challenge

The same Greece-based client needed a second, chip-based solution: data written to JCOP3 RFID chips that could be read reliably from a dedicated mobile app as well as third-party NFC reader apps.

What We Built

We used JMRTD and the Regula SDK to write and encrypt data on JCOP3 chips, then built a mobile app to read it back. The encoded data is also readable through third-party apps like Regula Document Reader and Read.ID.
