JCOP RFID Chip Reader App

The Challenge

Clients needed a reliable way to write data onto JCOP3 RFID chips and read it back, both from a dedicated mobile app and from standard third-party NFC reader apps, without locking the encoded data into a proprietary format only one app could open.

What We Built

We used JMRTD and the Regula SDK to encode and encrypt data onto JCOP3 chips, then built a dedicated mobile app to read that data back. Because the encoding follows the same standards those SDKs are built on, the chips are also readable through established third-party apps like the Regula Document Reader and ReadID, not just our own app.
