The Windows desktop POS we built handles order-taking, payments, and kitchen routing well, but a restaurant owner should not have to walk up to a cashier terminal to change a menu price or check yesterday's sales. That gap is exactly what the web-based admin panel is for.

We built the admin panel in Next.js and Tailwind CSS, connected to the same PostgreSQL and Redis backend as the desktop POS, giving an owner a real operational view instead of exporting data from the till and building a spreadsheet by hand.

Because the admin panel shares a backend with the POS rather than syncing from it on a delay, it shows real-time visibility into orders as they are processed, not a report generated after the fact.
