Building a Unified Storefront and Admin Panel for an Event Ticketing Platform

How we built TicketEve's public storefront and unified admin panel in Laravel, tying together web and mobile ticket sales, listings, and notifications in one place.

The web half of a mobile-first platform

TicketEve's organizer, buyer, and gate-scanner experience runs primarily through mobile apps, but a ticketing platform still needs a public website where people can browse and buy tickets without downloading anything first, plus an admin panel to manage both channels from one place.

One admin panel, not two

We built a Laravel website with Firebase and OneSignal integration, giving organizers a single admin panel that covers both the website and the mobile apps rather than two separate management tools for two separate channels.

  • Event and listing management, running through the same interface whether a ticket sold through the app or the website
  • Sales tracking and reporting unified across both channels
  • OneSignal-powered push notifications shared with the TicketEve mobile apps, so a buyer gets the same experience regardless of where they came from

Why unified reporting matters more than it seems

Delivered alongside the TicketEve apps as part of the same two-month engagement, this unified approach is what let organizers actually trust their sales numbers. A ticketing platform where the app and website report separately makes it too easy to undercount or double-count sales, which is a bad problem to have at the worst possible moment, during a live event.
