Building a Standalone AI Agent for Car Price Prediction

An agent, not an app

Not every AI project needs a user interface. A client needed an AI agent, as a standalone component, that could estimate a car's market price based on its specifications and condition, built specifically to be integrated directly into their own existing system rather than shipped as its own product.

Structured inputs, a real prediction

The agent takes structured inputs and returns a predicted price for the car. Keeping the inputs structured rather than free-text made the predictions more consistent and made the agent far easier for the client's system to call programmatically.

Designed to be integrated, not adopted

Delivered as a standalone AI agent with no independent interface of its own, this is a good example of what AI agent work looks like when the client already has a platform and just needs a specific capability added to it. The whole engagement was scoped around one question: does this component return an accurate price, and does it drop cleanly into an existing system.
